In Eskişehir, a car driver rained bullets on a school bus transporting students, during a traffic quarrel. A woman walking on the sidewalk was injured in the incident.
In Eskişehir, there was an argument between a school bus full of students and a driver passing by. Meanwhile, the driver started to open fire on the school bus with the gun he had with him. The rebounding bullet hit Elvan C. (36) walking on the pavement. Elvan C., was injured and taken to the hospital, the police started investigation to catch the escaped driver.
The driver shoot the schoolbus and drive away
A traffic quarrel arose between the driver of the car, whose license plate could not be determined yet, and the driver of the school bus. The driver of the car fired a gun from the back of the school bus including the students.
The bullet bounced off the pavement and hit Elvan C., who was walking on the street. Elvan C. was injured in her hip, and taken to Yunus Emre State Hospital after the first intervention of the medical team.
Provincial Police Department Public Security Branch teams examined the security camera records at the scene and in the surrounding area. A parent of a student who saw the incident claimed that the driver, who fled after shooting, drove his vehicle onto a pregnant woman.
An eyewitness said:
“After dropping our children off at school, on the way back to our house we saw the vehicle was standing on the road coming behind the school bus. Meanwhile, an argument broke out between the school bus driver and the car driver. The person driving the car fired at the school bus where the children were inside. Meanwhile, my friend, who left his child at school and was returning to home, was injured. He drove the car on me, too.”
The investigation launched for the suspect’s arrest continues.
