A bomb attack was carried out on a mosque in the Sayed Abad region of Kunduz province in northern Afghanistan. It was stated that at least 100 people were killed and many injured in the incident.
Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said that a bomb attack was carried out on the Shiite mosque in the Sayed Abad district of Kunduz during Friday prayers.

AT LEAST 100 PEOPLE WERE KILLED IN THE BOMB ATTACK
Stating that there were dead and wounded in the attack, Mujahid said that the Taliban forces reached the region and an investigation was started regarding the attack. According to local officials, at least 100 people were killed and many injured in the attack. No one claimed responsibility for the attack, which eyewitnesses said was an act of suicide.
In the past, most of the attacks against Shiites in Afghanistan were claimed by the terrorist organization DAESH.
In a statement on his Twitter account, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said, “An explosion occurred in a Shiite mosque in the Sayed Abad district of Kunduz city. Many of our brothers were martyred or injured in the attack.”
