Ankara Governor’s Office issued an agricultural frost warning for the city in general. The agricultural frost, which will start on Thursday, September 23rd, is expected to last until Sunday, September 26th; producers were warned to be careful.
Cold weathers slowly cover all around Turkey. In Ankara, where the temperature is expected to be 2 to 5 degrees below the seasonal norms, the wind will be moderately strong from south and southwest directions, strong in the southeast parts, in the form of a storm and at a speed varying between 50 and 80 kilometres. An agricultural frost warning came for Ankara Governor’s Office.
“Producers should be cautious.”
In the written statement made by the Governor’s Office it is stated: “According to the latest meteorological evaluations, our producers should be careful and cautious, since light agricultural frost is expected in Ankara and its surroundings, in the regions of agricultural activities continue. The frost will start during the night hours of September 23rd and will last until the morning hours of September 26th.”
