Last week, an attack was carried out on a Shiite mosque in Kunduz province during Friday prayers. The terrorist organization ISIS claimed responsibility for the bloody attack. Local authorities announced that 47 people were killed and many injured in the bomb attack on the Fatimiyya Mosque.
In the statement published on the social media channels of ISIS, it was stated that the attack was carried out by two suicide bombers, and the names of the attackers were shared.
Taliban Spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid condemned the attack in his post on Twitter and stated that the security forces were instructed to find the perpetrators as soon as possible.
